I recently judged a writing contest, and the contest coordinator forwarded this note from one of the entrants:
"Please tell Judge #M41 how much I appreciate her thoughtful comments on Private Pilot. She is good! Really Good! Obviously knows her stuff. I'm incorporating most of her edits. I so appreciate her time and efforts.
She made entering this contest completely worth it."
These words warmed my heart.
